Beauty | What's In My Everyday Makeup Bag

I feel like this is a common blog post that I see often, however, it is one of my all time favourites that can be done time and time again and doesn't get boring!

All of my makeup can be found in most UK drugstores/supermarkets and links will be put below. I typically buy this type of makeup because honestly I'd rather spend more money on buying clothes - but despite this, I like my face to look all pretty too. I work in a place where people come and go and look at my face all day - not to mention it gets absolutely boiling, so I have to make sure the products I buy stay on my face and don't slide down south. Trying to do this on a budget and still have money to experiment with different products means I have to be very selective on what I choose, so if you have any recommendations on what to try out, leave a comment below! All prices with links to where you can purchase them will be linked and listed underneath the photo.

First of all,  for skin care I use the match perfection by Rimmel foundation. I won't go into detail on this because I have a full review here so check it out! I use the shade 100 Ivory or 103 True Ivory depending on how tan my face is.

The next products I have in my everyday makeup bag are the Rimmel 'wake me up' concealer and the Rimmel stay matte powder. As you can see all of my skin based products are from Rimmel. This is because I find that they are extremely affordable and the shades match my skin tone well. The concealer provides that extra brightness to your face (especially the under eye circles which we all hate). The powder really does make you get the matte finish which means you only need to use the tiniest bit. This is a perfect combination to use on an everyday basis. The one problem about these products is that they only have a medium coverage. So if you feel you need something heavier for your skin this might not be the right product for you. However, I strongly recommend this gets tried. The concealer that I'm using is shade 10 Ivory and the powder is 005 Silky Beige

Going along with the face theme, the next two products to talk about are contour, highlight and blush. The sets that I use everyday are from sleek. The blusher set contains three colours - my favourite being the orangey one on the left. I like to use these blushes because  they are extremely pigmented and very build able. This is part of their blush by 3 collection and the set is called Lace 367. In case you didn't want to try out the full set the individual shades are called: Crochet, Guipure and Chantilly. The contour kit that I have been using is also very pigmented and looks natural on my skin. I got this one in shade Light 884.

The next lot of products in my makeup bag full of goodies is eye makeup! I have a mish-mash of items in  here but I really do love them all. First of all I have my Special eyes precision pencil eye liner by Rimmel in the shade 161 Black Magic. I find that this eyeliner goes on my eye smoothly and gently without getting clumpy. It is also really dark and pigmented which is something I look for in an eyeliner.  The next product that I have on my list is the B. Dramatic bold liquid eyeliner in the colour 100 Black. This eyeliner is just like a felt tip which makes application really easy to do in the mornings for a casual everyday look. It gives a really nice winged effect too, whether it be thick or thin. The next product is the Volume Lash Scandal Eyes by - you guessed it - Rimmel! This is a thick brush applicator mascara in the shade 001 Black and it works really well to thicken your eyelashes and make them look really bold. However, if you have shorter eye lashes, it may be best to put a lengthening mascara on first.

The next item is a sleek eyeshadow pallet. This is part of their i-Divine range in the colour Au Naturel 601. I chose to buy this initially because I wanted really earthy and neutral shades to do day to day smokey eye looks with. Once again sleek products are highly pigmented and good quality so I cannot fault this piece. There are 10 matte colours and 2 shimmers so there is a wide choice of combinations you can do if you just took this one pallet with you. The next pot of goodness is the sleek eye brow kit in the colour Dark. Inside this tiny box you get the shaping gel, powder, and angled brush and blending brush (also a mini set of tweezers which isn't picture here. Great for on the go eh!). This combination of wax and powder means that your eyebrows stay set for all day and do not run down your face at all! The finale of all products is lipstick! I just have one of many pictured here. I think that a lipstick is a staple piece that should always be worn. One of my favourites is the Kate Moss, Rimmel range, especially shade 105
